Cannot Install Kaspersky – Incompatible with LiveUpdate

If you are trying to install Kaspersky and during the compatability check it prompts you to uninstall LiveUpdate even though LiveUpdate has been uninstalled, it may be a registry entry that is stopping the installation.
Fortunately a google search found provided me with this link and it has solved this problem for several of my clients.

Corrupted Seagate Dashboard (Memeo) may cause VGA Problems

If you the resolution of your monitor changes to VGA(640×480) during Windows startup, it may be a problem with Seagate Dashboard.
I found this after going through the painful process of disabling startup programs to find which was the cause, as by disabling all made the symptom disappear.
Re-installing the application fixed the problem. Seagate Dashboard works, and no more VGA resolution during startup.
If anyone else has experienced this, try this fix and report if it worked for you.
